3 Festive Tequila Drinks to Brighten the Holiday Season

Mistletoe Margarita
This bright cranberry margarita is the perfect drink for sipping under the mistletoe. It’s a spin on the classic margarita, fun and festive, and offers a rich flavor. It’s also easy to make, so you can spend less time preparing and more time enjoying.
Ingredients:
- 2 cups of Aldez Blanco
- 1 ½ cups of cranberry juice
- 1 cup of orange liqueur
- ⅔ cup of freshly squeezed lime juice
Instructions:
Combine all of the ingredients in a pitcher filled with ice, and stir. Then strain into your favorite margarita glass and garnish with a sprig of fresh rosemary and fresh cranberries for a decoration reminiscent of holiday mistletoe.
Holiday Pick-me-up Espresso Martini
This sweet espresso martini will have you and your guests feeling jolly. The sweet caramel flavors of Aldez Reposado go perfectly with the deep flavors of espresso and coffee liquor in this recipe. The Holiday Pick-me-up Espresso Martini is great as an after-dinner treat, and also pairs well with desserts and light hors d’oeuvres, making it a great addition to any holiday party.
Ingredients:
- 1 shot of fresh, chilled espresso or Mexican coffee
- 2 oz of Aldez reposado
- 1 oz of coffee liquor
Instructions:
Combine all of the ingredients and shake in a chilled shaker filled with ice. Strain into your favorite martini glass and garnish with chocolate-covered espresso beans.
Aldez Tequila Eggnog
Eggnog is a classic holiday drink that we promise is even better with tequila! Our aged Aldez Reposado brings complexity and flavors of cooked agave, caramel, cinnamon and vanilla that pair perfectly with the creamy eggnog. - 1 ½ oz of Aldez Reposado
- ½ oz amontillado sherry
- 5 oz eggnog
Instructions:
Combine all of the ingredients into your favorite rocks glass. Fill the glass with ice and stir. Garnish with freshly grated nutmeg and a flamed orange peel.
